rolliefingers08
Cool... so I was doing a little installing of some uniforms (bigbully's nats alts, royals unis, brewers sunday, twins alts) aaaand I was doing this using kraw's installer thingy. I tested in the game, the Nats unis, and they worked fine, so I went ahead and installed the royals and twins uniforms. I didn't test the game out after this, and just awhile ago I installed the brewers sunday uniform. Then I go to play the game, testing out the uniforms I go Royals against Brewers, and the game shuts down on the loading screen. I figure its one of the uniforms, so I test out a game with the Royals, same thing. Brewers, same thing. Then I try a game between the Cards and A's, no updates made to them, and same thing. Beforehand, I had backed up models.big and uniforms.big, and I went to copy+paste the old models over the updated one, and it said something about the backup being a corrupt file. Then I delete the new one, and paste the backup and it works fine. Put the backup uniforms in and no problem. Go to play the game, same thing, it just shuts down. Was there any other file I should have had backed up? Is this fixable by just putting in a clean models & uniforms file? I'm thinking I could redownload the MVP 06 mod (thats what I'm using by the way) and take the files from there and just copy paste, as we would off the CD without the 06 mod. Please tell me this will work and I'm not in for a bunch of reinstalling of my game. I'm into my dynasty already and it took me forever to install all the extra mods I wanted. kgbaseball
Is that a bump? You're lucky I'll answer your question. Just install whatever uniform pack you had before, add the Nats/Brewers, etc, and don't forget to make sure everything's compressed.
rolliefingers08
But if its simply a problem with those uniforms, shouldn't a game without any of those unforms work?
kgbaseball
Just do what I said and see what happens.
probaseball203
kgbaseball, why the attitude? the guy likes playing his game, and is frustrated because of an error...we have all gotten an error before, and im sure you would have reacted the same way... saying he is lucky your answering him is a bit stupid... big shmooz
please.. someone? I know this may be a stupid question to ask, but did you put the models.big to read only (or make sure it was in read only mode) after you installed the uniforms as the readme warns? rolliefingers08
Tried setting to read only (in the right click > properties > read only) but if there's another way i'm not sure how to do it. i'd feel stupid if thats what i blew though. Still have to try installing the old sets of uniforms.
bigbully
have you installed any cyberfaces or just uniforms? see this thread for corrupt models.big or uniforms.big files (it talks about Fuzz's Studio but you can still use the same methods: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?name=Foru...&highlight=fuzz

rolliefingers08
well i've tried playing a game, so yeah, that might be it. cyberfaces are not a problem, only faces i have are from the 06 mod and they worked fine before this. would it work if i simply just downloaded the 06 mod again, and just loaded the models.big and uniforms.big files?
