First Audio Mod...having issues with "Splitter"

I have been following UncleMo's tutorial on doing an audio mod, but I'm stuck at the end. Once you have your new audio file and have converted it to a ASF file using Ditty Importer UncleMo suggests using Splitter to cut it down to the correct size. He said once you do that you simply have to rename it and import it using ASF import/export.

Well I tried cutting the file down using splitter. It cut it to the correct size and I tried renaming it. But now when I go to ASF Imp/exp it doesn't show up as a file I can import. The file from Ditty Importer shows up (but it's not the right size to import) so I'm assuming something happened to the file type when it went through Splitter. Someone please help!

I can't even help you. It looks like you're using ditty importer AFTER you are using asf/importer exporter. I don't understand what you are doing right/wrong.

use splitter after you convert it to .asf file. don't split your .wav file. Split your .asf file ( i believe). ASF IMPORTER EXPORTER imports .asf files, not .wav files. Use ditty importer to convert the file. then go on to splitter, then asf importer exporter.
