There are so many that are good. Sandman's early 60s unis are niiiice. And rolie's too. I use his '08/'11/'14 Cubs. And then most of my current unis are Umachine's

I like KC's and BartW's stuff. Excellent work. BartW has managed to somehow get rid of that awful foil shine that I hate. I haven't downloaded KC's new versions but I will give those a try over the weekend. Are they indeed new or just newly uploaded over here?

The ones on my site are kinda outdated, the ones you see uploaded now are fresh off my desktop. I managed to compress the file back to its original size before it was uncompressed to keep the file size small and easier hopefully for the game to load them, similar to MLeek's method.

I appreciate all uniform makers work, 'cause our intetion is improving the look of the game or even making something that doesn't exist yet. But I have to go with Bart's work, not only because his uniforms look great, but he also is an innovator. Shade effect for color linestripes, for example.

If you closely look at my jerseys, almost all of them have a detail that doesn't belong to me, but to Bart-W: the front button. I just copied this little circle, fit it to my templates and started using it to date.

Copying good Ideas is not bad at all, this will help you to develop your own ones later, like what happend to me with satin effect, script deepness and 'holes' effect. I learnt looking at pieces of almost all uniform makers who were (and are) over here since MVP 2003 and even earlier.

nice to know Umachines, that we can all learn from each other. I learned how to mod also from other people, and adapted their techniques into one whole different style far different from what everybody else does. And believe it or not, I was in actuality the only uniform guy for mvp 2003.

What is this script deepness you mention?...

1) Make a mask from script

2) Paste a white object from the script shape, move it one pixel to left and one pixel up and send it one level under the script layer.

3) Do the same with a black object but move it one pixel to right and one pixel down. Again send it to a lower layer level.

If the Jersey is white, colored or black, you can play with transparency level for these two objects: for white jerseys 100% white object and just 25% black object. For darker jerseys, decrease white object value and increase black object value and so.

The effect is light from top left side and shadow from down right side, just like Windows system buttons. Simple, but good looking, bro. Just try out and tell me!

Dude i think you mean making a shadow. I use photoshop and go to Blending Options, it makes the process alot easier. However I don't add the satin effect because it makes the script look kinda beveled and button-ish, but that's just me.

looks like we may have stumbled upon a uniform modders thread for idea exchange. i support anything that will make the game better. nice to see people open to exchanging ideas and techniques.

I plan on releasing a template for jerseys pretty soon and nike batting gloves/shoes.

now that is something a bumbling idiot like me could use to hone my craft

The jerseys will be in PSD format, the batting gloves/shoes in bitmap format. They're all in 2X.

Can you feel the love
