ishotlove
since MLB 2k6 is terrible, i decided to get MVP for the pc and update the rosters. my cousin copied it for me. i installed it, then installed patches 4 and 5. the only thing is, for me to use the backup, i'd have to overwrite the original .exe with the no-cd fix's .exe. but don't the patches fix things within the .exe file? therefore the patches really wouldn't take affect if i'm using a different .exe file. cuz right now, the gameplay is choppy, particularly in the infield. so will i basically have to buy the game in order to play the game without being choppy? or is there a way around this? snepp
I'm guessing that you already know the answer to your question. Anyhow, yes, the appropriate solution to your dilema would be to purchase a copy of the game. There are workarounds, but you won't find them posted on this board (unless the policy has changed).
