atrain3868
Hello all, I first off want to thank everyone who has helped me with my questions the past week or so. I am a newbie so any help is great. I am currently getting my game set up with the MVP 06 mod and using MD's v3.1 datafile and see there are 5 versions. I have read about all 5 through the mod description and various threads and understand what the differences are. What I am looking to find out is which version do you folks find to be the best in terms of usability and relistic in terms of cams and gameplay views. I am looking at adding some overlays and audio mods (FOX music mods and crowd noise mods) and was wondering what versions best accomodate these. How are the camera views in these versions and is there any versions where there are unrealistic camera views or issues that need fixed. I am terrible at editing games and usually mess things up so I am looking for the most realistic options available without me having to adjust a bunch of settings and increasing the odds of me messing up my game. Again thanks for all opions and ideas regarding this. Adam (atrain3868) Charlotte, NC
JoeyMcM93
All of MD's datafiles are the same except for what they say are different in the read me. There are no errors as far as i know, and all the camera views are pretty good. It depends on how much you like the original camera views. The new ones give the game a new feel, but its a matter of opinion.
atrain3868
Thanks for the reply. So in your opinion would it be better to use the version with the default audio if I am going to add audio mods? I guess I am just afraid that using a version with an already modded audio file might conflict with a new one. I would like to use the one that has the modded crowd noise but I am not sure how new audio mods might react with the modded audio. As for the camera issues I take it that any camera issues that might have been brought up in other threads/posts are now fixed? Thanks for the info. JoeyMcM93
All the issues have been fixed to my knowledge. The datafile shouldn't matter if you mod your files. They are seperate items. The game's audio is in your game folder on your C drive. The datafile just changes thigs in a different way. The datafile shouldn't matter if you mod your audio. JoeyMcM93
Wow, thanks for the kind words. I just know what its like to be lost in thses files. I don't think anyone should be lost to the point of no return because i know what thats like, and let me tell you, it sucks. Hope you enjoy the game! PM me if you have any more qustions, I'll be happy to help!
paldragons
Im pretty sure if you use MDs datafile with batterwalk up music off then some of the audio mods out there will NOT work... such as the FOX music mod between innings... Im not 100% sure on this but pretty sure.. So, unless u just hate the default music id use the datafile that has the music just to be safe for future modding purposes.
