Royal Blues
Just need to make portraits for these and some minor touchups and they should be up tonight. On the road unis, the white stroke around "Tulsa" was on the eps file, but it doesn't look right at all. Can anyone confirm if it's there on the actual jersey? Also, can anyone tell me which, if any, of these uniforms have names on the backs?
phillipsg1322
http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=htt...hl%3Den%26lr%3D I found this article. It may help you.
biker_jim_uk
Cap logos should be bigger IMO
Royal Blues
phillip: thanks for the link...that's a very useful site, and I'll be using it for future releases. jim: these screens are from my first check on the unis in-game. I seem to have problems figuring how much to stretch the logos horizontally on the first try. I'm realizing now just how much the logo gets compressed once it's ingame. At any rate, they'll definitely be fixed before they're released. I'm guessing the Beavers' cap logos looked fine in my release thread?
biker_jim_uk
They didn't look fine to me that's why I mentioned the same issue in there too
Royal Blues
Oh I know, and I took your suggestion. I meant in my release thread under Announcements...there's a new pic posted there with the logo adjusted as you suggested, and it looks tons better. biker_jim_uk
Sorry I missed that one. I'd say if you're happy and others are too, then it's ok. Guess I just like big cap logos
Royal Blues
I do too, but I ran into a problem with a couple logos, such as my Wranglers' BP cap: it's an oval shape, and ingame, the top arc gets stretched up, so the top half is still oval, but the top half is more rounded...kind of looks like it's got a humpback if I make it too big. biker_jim_uk
then make it uneven in the bmp, ie short and fat?
Royal Blues
That's what I wound up doing. I couldn't stretch it out too far though without losing quality.
biker_jim_uk
strange as the logo pic should be much bigger than the cap bmp?
Royal Blues
 Strange as I'm an idiot. I was stretching it out after I'd already scaled it down to size. I might redo that particular cap and release an update.
biker_jim_uk
glad I could help I don't know if you do this but you can get nice effects with internal bevel and overlay a stiching type effect first, this looks ok when resized to fit the cap.
Royal Blues
I've meant to do that as well, but I keep forgetting about bevelling that, and I can't seem to get a stitching pattern that spungo showed me to work.
biker_jim_uk
try something like this as the top layer, property multiply, simple but looks ok
djg007
What do you guys do in photoshop that makes the jersey text look like it's overlapped with the side of the jersey?
biker_jim_uk
use layers and cutpaste and move till you get it to look good, then perhaps add some shading to the seam area to suit.
