jwboyo
Hi, I would appreciate any help that I can get. I have had MVP 2005 for over a year and it has always worked fine. I found this site and added my first mod about a month ago, UR 6 Plus Edition with models.big lite addition, also a Yankees CTS, and the new busch stadium from pirate. I played 6 games in a owner mode and then on the 7th game the computer crashed. I uninstalled everything on the computer figuring that I could go back to playing the way I had been for a year. But even after installing everything again the computer still crashes whenever I play any game, in exhibition, owner, dynasty, whatever. I can't even throw a single pitch anymore before it freezes and crashes. I don't know very much about computers and it might be my system, but I can't understand why it work for over a year and then when I used a mod all of a sudden it crashes every time. I haven't done anything different to my system so I don't know what is wrong. I would appreciate all the help that I can get. Thanks
big shmooz
When you uninstall you need to make sure you remove all the files. You should go in windows explorer after you uninstall & delete the mvp 05 folder in the drive you installed the game to, & also the mvp 05 folder in the my documents folder. Then reinstall. jwboyo
Thanks for the help big schmooz, I did what you said and uninstalled everything from the folder that I installed the game in and the MVP 2005 folder in My Documents. I searched for anything to do with MVP or EA and deleted in all. Still the same problem, I crash when I play the game. I can't even play the batting mini game without a crash. I don't know what has gone wrong, any other advice would be appreciated. Thanks
