Backdraft Posted July 2, 2004 Share Posted July 2, 2004 MVP Baseball (and most other video games for that matter) can't show the batter charging the mound because the players association doesnt want the violence associated with the game. And if the simulation is going to be true to life, then mound charging is definitely a part of baseball. Dont get me wrong, I'm not looking to be able to control the players as they brawl like this was a hockey video game, but I think the double standard by the PA is pretty pathetic.
