Royal Blues
Just waiting for a couple custom numbers from Cap'n. As far as the cap logos (jim, I know you're looking at this ), they're stretched as wide as I can and look pretty much spot-on with the reference pics I have. I also took your advice on the bevelling and stitch pattern.
myk13
great job again RB! your really gettin the minor league uni's out, keep it up...did you ever get the MILB.TV? that dark grey uni looks exactly like the Portland one i PMed u about, if i can find a good pic of the script you can just easily lay it on where the Nashville is
Royal Blues
That's exactly what I was thinking too. Can you tell me if milb.tv is streaming or what kind of feed it is? I'm sure I can find a video image-capture program out there somewhere.
MarlinsMS_35
Wow, I'm still trying to learn how to do that shadow, and move thing to make it look more realistic. I can't get it right. Those jerseys are awesome.

Royal Blues
Awesome. I may have just the tool. I need to test it out...do you know which media player it runs through?
biker_jim_uk
nice, but I prefer these ones If you used the cap pics in the shop of the Sounds website and reduced the height to 60% they fit really well and no need to do bevel or stitching as it is already there. Royal Blues
Were these done already? I had no idea. I missed the post, and of course search isn't working...
biker_jim_uk
No, I made the caps about 2 hours ago to see if I could make the logos bigger
myk13
RB..it runs thru windows media player on a pop up window..just like if you go to mlb.com or any of your fav teams and look at their highlights
myk13
ok i tried a program called "Snagit" and that didnt work either, i then decided to pause it and take pix with my digital camera, not the greatest but its a little more better. the only noticeable difference between these and those sounds ones is that their is no numbers on the front...also no names on the back but i dont know how the sounds jersey looks. Also the beaver logo on the sleeve that you can see here http://www.sportslogos.net/images/Baseball/PCL/POR_4851.gif
Royal Blues
I actually just tried Snagit myself with the same results. I'm in the process of downloading a stream recorder so I can take screens that way. Otherwise, what you could try is see if you can access the hardware accelleration on the stream. I can't remember if you can do that through Media Player or not, but if you can, set the accelleration to None, then take the screenshot with alt+print screen. Another suggestion I saw was using ctrl+I, but I haven't tried that yet. And jim, thanks for testing that for me. I swear I'll get those logos down, then I'll go back and update my previous releases. MarlinsMS_35
to take a screen you can do alt+Print Screen, and it will take a screenshot.
Royal Blues
That doesn't work with movies/streaming files, which is what we're trying to do here, from milb.tv. Now what I did do was set my hardware acceleration in Win Media Player to none, and it worked in one game, but not in the next one I tried. I'm still trying to figure out what exactly is going on. Royal Blues
I actually found a different way around it. In the performance options in Media Player, instead of lowering hardware acceleration, click on the Advanced... button and uncheck Use Overlays. myk13
are you gonna try and give those uni's a shot? just curious since its basically the sounds uniform minus the number up front....good find btw
Royal Blues
I took several screenshots. If I can piece together the script and get the coloring right, then I'll have an update really soon.
memphis25
Nashville's Home uniforms are sleveless this year, look the same but they have a black undershirt. Should see some pics on thier website in previous strorys or in the nashvilles newspapers website.
memphis25
This site some help of most Oklahoma Redhawks but you can see some of nashvilles in thier. http://brentandml.freefronthost.com/redhawks-3.htm
myk13
hey royal blues, when you uncheck the overlays, do you just use the print screen then paste option to get your screenshots?
Royal Blues
Yep, just hit the print screen button and paste it into any photo editor. Memphis, thanks for the link. That'll help me with my Redhawks pack. So the Sounds' home uni is the vest type...is the road version still the old sleeved version?
memphis25
I watched one game on MiLB.tv and they were grey sleeveless like the 2006 home. I think the use the ones with Nashville on the front too.

Royal Blues
I'm having a whale of a time extracting the jersey script without it looking extremely pixelated, but I'm still working on it. On another note, these unis are done, just waiting for Cap'n to get back from holiday for custom numbers.
