scottlewis9
I have installed the new GABP, U.R 6.3 Plus, and Cyberfaces. When I try to start a Reds Dynasty; I crash to desktop just after the introduction of my starting pitcher. Does anyone know what is going on, or have the same problem? xiberger
I don't think your problem is related to the GABP mod. Most likely, it's a cyberface issue. Check the players (batting lineup) from your opponent's team in the main menu of MVP (Team Management --> Edit Player). If you get a crash there, you got the reason for your dynasty crash. I checked it out, I had no crashes in "Edit Player". I tried running the dynasty again, this time it let me play, but Jason LaRue's face was red and green striped with letters pasted on it. So my next question is; what is going on here and how do I repair it?
xiberger
Ok, now we've got your problem: LaRue's cyberface doesn't have all the necessary attachments in its fsh file. Try adding "metal bin" and "name" to it, and it should work.

xiberger
Ok, here it goes... First, you have to extract the fsh file in question from your models.big. I suggest you use EAGraph. Open models.big in it, click on the corresponding cyberface, and extract LaRue's fsh file (File --> Extract). EAGraph will ask you, whether you want to uncompress the file, but I recommend you do that later (use eazip or gfxpak). Once you got the fsh file extracted, there are basically two options: 1.) Take any of jogar84's cyberfaces (one of his latest releases!), open it with FshEd, and extract attachments "metal bin" and "name". To do so, click on each attachment, then choose "Object" --> "Export", and save each under its name (save as "Binary Data Only"!). Now open LaRue's fsh file, go under "Object" --> "Add New" --> "Attachment", and select each file ("label" has to match the imported attachment!). Once both attachments have been added, save the new file, compress it, and re-import it with EAGraph into your models.big. 2.) Open LaRue's fsh file and extract the bmp under "Object" --> "Export" (save it as 24-bit Bitmap). Now take one of jogar84's cyberfaces, decompress it, open it, and add La Rue's bitmap (Object --> Edit --> New). Save the new file, compress it, and re-import it with EAGraph into your models.big. It sounds complicated, I know, but it really isn't.
