bigh0rt
... to move higher priced players? I'm trying to build up the Kansas City Royals in a Dynasty, but it's just impossible to do fiscally without moving players like Redman (4.2 million), Sweeney (10.8 million), Sanders (4.8 million), Grudzialanek (3.8 million)... ... what advice can you give on successfully moving contracts like this? Do I need to wait until the deadline approaches? I've tried offering for various types of players - with no success. How would you go about moving these guys? I'm less concerned with the quality I get back as I am the salary dump - though some worth while players wouldn't hurt, either. Thanks in advance. SwinginSoriano
Trade them for crappy single-A prospects. Also, the game is stupid and lets you keep some money if you release players.

Trying for Single-A crap pots is of no use. Just keep getting rejected (I assume over the difference in money...) What percentage of $ is kept when releasing players in the game?? Any other ideas on how to move these bloated contracts??
APR
I wanna say 50% of their total salary is deducted from your bank roll - but don't quote me on it.
snepp
Try the "NBA approach". Trade your big contracts for big contracts that are due to expire at the end of the year.
