JoeyMcM93
As I sat watching the Giants game I found a Cal vs. Stanford game. I watched it and I started thinking...Why can the use alluminum bats? I knew college allowed them, but what makes college so different? The players will use wood bats in about 4 years anyway. So why do they use aluminum bats? ELDoro
although aluminum bats do cost a lot of money they are thought to save money and save hassel. Wood bats break a lot so colleges (especially smaller ones) might have trouble keeping up with the cost of continuely having to replace wooden bats. I for one do not like aluminum bats. I use a wooden bat in the offseason just so when the regular season rolls around I feel like superman..... its a world of difference.
tommyjay117
The ball jumps off the aluminum bats in college so much that some poeple are speculating that a pitcher may get hurt in the future. I for one think that they should use wood, i guess at least the big colleges.
SwinginSoriano
I think using the alumunum bats are stupid, but I don't own a college so it isn't my choice.
ELDoro
They definately should change. However, I do not think they ever will. It is much easier to market the aluminum bats that are "pretty" and because of that there is money to be made.
JoeyMcM93
I definatley agree, they should change. The fact that they are cheaper definatley makes sense. Thanks for the input.
