test13
I downloaded SwinginSoriano's 2006 Rosters (v2.3) and extracted it to my saved folder. When i go in to load the roster's and play the game it crashed right after i hit the last advance button to start play. Anyone know why this is happening or how i can fix it? If i then go in and load my saved season it works fine. What about the download makes it crash? I spent alot of time updating the game but couldnt update it all as you run out of guys you can create and you cant edit existing players. Is there anyone around this that someone can tell me? snepp
Is there any reason why you can't use the full database version rather than the .sav version? If there isn't, I suggest using the database version. LINK Also, you didn't mention which .sav version you're using, the plus or the standard.
test13
I used the plus version. From the link you gave me i dont understand how you download it from the readme file im not that great with computers. Can you explain it to me and how would i extract them and run them so it works. In the past i would just save those roster.sav files and just click load rosters select it and itwould work. But this one crashes i just want the most up to date roster thats all to play the game Thanks MIke
snepp
The reason it's crashing is that the Plus version requires additional files to be downloaded to work with it. The files aren't included with the roster because they are quite large. The standard version does not require these additional files and would work for you now as-is. SwinginSoriano
Thanks Snepp! :wtg: For some unknown reason, the database is more reliable. That's why I separated the downloads.
test13
So i went to the link and got all those files and extracted them to the mvp folder. Then i went into big schmooze folder and copy all the files and pasted them into the data/database folder and tried to run the game it doesnt work? So i dont know what else i can do? Does this only work with the game if it is purchased or will it worked with a downloaded version of the game? Maybe i just did the whole extracting part with winzip wrong i dont know. I really want to use those rosters they are so up to date. Let me know Mike
SwinginSoriano
Does this only work with the game if it is purchased or will it worked with a downloaded version of the game? People and videogame piracy, sigh. --- Anyway, the big shmooz version only works with a big shmooz models.big, in fact, with the latest version.
