Stupid Question, and yet I ask

Hey all-

I was hoping someone could help me figure out how to intentionally hit a batter. I know it's cruel and generally uncalled for, but, it is an optional control I can't get to work.

 Besides . . . sometimes it's called for.

Thanks!

When the left analog stick is pushed down (clicked, not pointed down) and the 5 and 6 top buttons are pushed, it intentionally walks the batter and beans him. I can't remember which action 5 and 6 do specifically, give 'em both a shot...

hold down 5 (L1) and click the left analog stick to nail a guy. to intentionally walk him without busting his spleen, do the same but click the right analog instead.

on a related topic, anyone know how to pitch out like the computer so efficiently does to me (if it's possible)? never have found anything stating how to do that.

Hold 5, then depress left analog and WHACK!

THANKS!

To pitchout, you hold L1 and then throw a fastball. Is that what you were asking?

Maybe he lost it ;)

if anyone has a saitek p880 dual analog controller I would like to know if the settings given above are the same for saitek controllers , or if I should press the 7 key on the upper left instead of 5. At the current time I must intentionally walk by throwing pitches that are way outside the strike zone (and then the ip opponent i play against swings and gets a strike) :?
