Glitch (once more...)

With all the talk about glitches lately, I would like to know if anybody has experienced this one as well:

Sometimes (with a runner on first), when the infield is playing deep and I hit a ground ball to the short stop, he'll throw the ball to the second baseman (in an attempt to turn a double play), even though that guy is still a good 20+ feet away from his base. But then, magically, the 2B sorta "glides" over there very rapidly, without even moving his feet!

I call it the "beaming play"...

Has anyone ever seen this happen?

Nope, can't say that I have. However, last night in my game Ervin Santana got hit in the head with a linedrive that bounced up to the shortstop who caught it for an out. Later on, he got hit in the head again and the ball almost bounced backed to the catcher, and then he got hit in the back turning away from a hit up the middle. All this, and no injury. I called it the Man of Steel Ervin Santana Glitch.

I've also had that glitch once, but it was a little bit different.

I had a runner on 1st with no outs. I hit a ground ball to the shortstop. He tried to throw it to the 2B but he was just running away on the outfield. The ball litteraly got thrown to nobody. And then in a fraction of a second the 2B made a 1000mph slide to his base and made the tag.

Franchise_Player-this is funny, but it's not. Ever get the feeling your pitcher is in for it? The Man of Steel Ervin Santana was funny.
