D-Unit Posted May 13, 2006 Share Posted May 13, 2006 those spots are the only almost guranteed spots, for example sometimes when a pitcher is throwing a shutout the closer might come in no matter what the score. i am pretty sure the first MRP spot is the most used pitcher in the bullpen.
