cruecu
I have a question about Spring Training in general. Who should we be playing in these games to maximize progression on younger players and minimize for older ones..Does Spring Training even effect progression at all? Thanks
JoeyMcM93
Yes, Spring Training affects all players one way or another.

rolliefingers08
I usually give the bulk of playing time to guys I see being on my roster in 1-3 years, and the top prospects/top draft picks. Also any young players in my club, but you can just let the CPU set your spring training lineups and it actually does a pretty good job.
cruecu
how about the guys toward the end of their prime that probably won't get better..like a Derek Jeter or Gary Sheffield type of player...Play them every game in Spring Training, sit them on the bench, or swap them with a AA or AAA player temporarily??? thanks for the help

D-Unit
heres what i use for spring training: draft picks 1-3 young players competing with other guys for positions when i have a few borderline guys for the bullpen i usually give them a few starts for more innings.
