Tom101
When my installation gets 68% through, I get an error message : A problem occured when trying to transfer the file 'Ddatastadiumbankday.big What do I do? Is my game defective?
MarkB
Try cleaning the disc first of all, and check it for scratches and other marks.
Tom101
I'm up to 76% right now. I have been ejecting the disk and putting it back in and every 3-4 times it will download a little more. Then the error message comes back up. Will the game install properly if I keep doing this? By the way, theres a few scratches on the disk, but their all minor. MarkB
Yeah, it should. Even if it's just the stadium files that it has trouble with, chances are you'll be downloading updated (and much better quality) stadiums from here anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. :)

Thanks for your help so far. One more thing. So once I am this far, its only stadiums im installing? So once this is done, after I download modded stadiums, I should be ok? Thanks! Tom101
I'm at 100% and its still asking me to retry or cancel the download. What should I do? If I cancel are the files deleted?
MarkB
No problem. Nope, you're installing the full game (it's installing from the CD by the way, it's not downloading anything from anywhere), but the stadiums are one of the last things to get installed and you were obviously at that part when the trouble started. But yes, if there is one file that just refuses to copy, you can download an updated version with real advertisements here. What is the error message you have right now? Yes, if you cancel at this point, it will remove the files that it's already copied.

Yes, if you cancel at this point, it will remove the files that it's already copied. The error message can not be exited until the file is downloaded or I press cancel. When I cancel, I have to redownload everything. Is their a way to cancel the download once it gets to the stadiums and keep everything else? Then I can just get the stadiums from you guys, right? MarkB
You're not, don't worry. You're not downloading any files at all, the files are being copied from the CD to your hard drive. Try just doing what you were doing this morning and try to get up to 100%.
