Ok i've done a pretty comprehensive search of the site and i cannot find anywhere to download Big Shmooz models.big

I have downloaded Ultimate Rosters 6.5 plus

Where do i d/l models.big ?

I must say that i am really new to modding my game so im not exactly sure what im doing but im pretty good at figuring things out for myself.

I am not d/l 'ing the mvp 06 mod until the final version.

So far i have got

MLB Ball

Total Audio (Which doesnt fix the fact that Papelbon is referred to as Sanderson as it states somewhere in the forums, can anyone help there?)

Grass Changer

Fox Music AND Overlay

KCcitystars uniforms

As previously stated i want to get the most out of the game so im not worried about the game becoming jittery. I have 3.6 ghz processor, 2 gig of ram and a 7800GTX video card.

Do i need the file referred to as uniforms.big as well ? Where do i get that ?

Sorry about all the questions in the one thread, thought i would get them out of the way.

Someone please help

If it's fixed. So far it is not. I am sorry about this but it's beyond my control as of now.

For those of us using the latest Models.big from Shmooz before it was removed could someone explain what the problem is/are?

I have the latest file along with the 6.5 Ult Rosters and have not seen any problems yet.

I believe the problem is that the file becomes corrupted after a while. I was using it and it was fine for a while, then I had the same freezing/lockup problem that a friend had. I restarted my computer and it didn't freeze, but I know why it did before, the first player who came to bat had the red and green "no image" texture for a face, which means the models.big became corrupted. Overwriting the models.big inthe data directory with the downloaded one works for a while, but I forgot to keep it on my HD.

I found out that you can temporarily fix the corrupted face problem. If your game freezes you have to find out what player was loaded. Then open create/edit player and choose that player, they should show up fine. Then you can play with no freeze. But the next time you play, you will need to do the same thing. I had B. Clark corrupted even though the face is fine in EAGraph. It was freezing against the Brewers, so I restarted my comp, tried again, and noticed B Clark had the red/green face. So I opened him up in Create/edit player and his face was fine. I went to play and his face was fine and no freeze. I restarted MVP and tried without going to edit player and it froze again.

Models.Big has to do with cyberfaces, correct? I was never sure what this file did.

Yes. The models.big has all of the cyberfaces, generic and specific, for the game. Each cyberface is made up of an .fsh, .ord, and .orl file, and they are all numbered and compressed into the models.big file. What big shmooz has done is take every updated cyberface and import into its own slot in the game, and Ultimate Rosters Plus goes along with it because it has every player numbered correctly with big shmooz's models.big. Hope that clears things up.

Cyberfaces that sometimes aren't displayed correctly ("red and green faces") are caused by missing attachments in the respective fsh file. I told shmooz how to fix this, so I think he might come up with an updated version of his models.big pretty soon.

According to the readme, the models.big will become corrupt if it's not in read-only mode.

Nada, pfalvey. I downloaded the models.big and it has been read-only ever since I extracted it. xiberger sounds like he knows whats going on.
