MVPEdit and DAO??

Trying to re-install MVPEdit and the cpu is kicking back a message saying something with the DAO and asking me to point to a temporary folder, but I have no clue. The program does eventually install even after I ask it to cancel at this "DAO" point, but it won't bring in .dat files saying something about too much data is being asked to copy, so it does nothing.

Anyone have a clue?

Would you mind posting it?

(p.s. --- any idea what DAO means other than the main line from a Harry Belafonte calypso song? :))

Well hang tight - My MVPEDIT now runs with no errors but it tries to display the photo of the player I get a GFXPAK error with no photo.

I think this is due to the portrait.big being expanded beyond 3,000 slots or some jibe like that.

I'll try and upload the fix - you can play with at your own risk.

and DAO - Short for data access objects, objects that work with the Jet database engine. DAO objects are generally created with Visual Basic. Once created, a DAO object can be accessed and manipulated by any application that can use the Jet engine. This includes all of the applications in Microsoft Office, such as MS-Word, MS-Access, and Excel.

Straight from Webopedia.
