Emil
whats different in the updated version? ditto
tywiggins
It's just a small change to the player links. xiberger informed me that MVPSaveReader uses "`" (grave accent) instead of an apostrophe when a player has an apostrophe in their name. xiberger
Thanks again, ty! It works perfectly now.
D-Unit
Hey Ty, I just had a question about your box score extractor. I have the most recently updated version, and I was extracting a box score and it looked something like this: But last night, my box score is showing up like this now: My box score on the bottom looked like the first one, but now all my box scores look messed up. Do you know what my problem is? Is it an error I am doing while extracting? Your help is appreciated, D-Unit
xiberger
Your folder (not the one the boxscore is in, but one higher) is missing the necessary stylesheet. Make sure it's in there and everything should work fine.
D-Unit
what do you mean by necessary stylesheet? do you mean the "textboxscores" folder? because its there and they have excel sheets there...
tywiggins
what do you mean by necessary stylesheet? do you mean the "textboxscores" folder? because its there and they have excel sheets there... He means the all.css file.
D-Unit
Oh. That's in there...this is it right?
tywiggins
Oh. That's in there...this is it right? But if you move your boxscores you will need to move the images folder and the all.css file along with it. So say you want to upload your boxscores to a website: In the main directory, you want to have the all.css file and the images folder. Also in the main directory, you need a folder that contain your boxscores.

HardcoreLegend
I can't get this to work. All it ever does it pop-up with the black 'DOS' box and then disappear. I have Framework 2.0 installed on my PC but alas, this still won't run.
tywiggins
Did you change the name of your mvp2005.exe to something else?
HardcoreLegend
Did you change the name of your mvp2005.exe to something else? AH! Yes, I did. I changed it to MVP1967.
HardcoreLegend
You wouldn't, by chance, know of a way to get it to look for MVP1967.exe instead of mvp2005.exe, would ya? :D

I could do that, but I won't. Anyways, you can just rename your shortcuts for the game, instead of renaming your mvp2005.exe.

Yes, I'm aware of my mistake now. I'm just sitting here with an Opening Day game minimized that Gibby went 12 innings, striking out 8 and still lost, and wanted to export the boxscore for a 'Dynasty' Thread from 1967 I wanted to start.
