jvizzle
i just bought the game, i just downloaded the ea sports patch #3 and #5. Now after i extract it where should i put the file. Should i just put it in the mvp baseball folder or in one of the subfolders (i.e. data) I just placed it in the mvp baseball 2005 folder. I also downloaded UR 6.5 (not the plus addition because they took the big schmooz's files out). What else do you guys recommend. I read alot about grass and kccunis? Thanks for your input. snepp
You need to run the patch file, not just put it in a directory. Don't bother with patch 5, it's worthless.
Filthy57
It doesn't matter where you put the patch. It's an .exe. You just need to run it. I would advise you to not put it in your MVP 2005 folder just to be safe. Just extract in whatever folder you have for your stuff that you download, but as long as you run the .exe and it installs, you'll be fine. Download the MVP 06 mod, and then update the rosters with Ultimate Rosters Plus edition. I'm pretty sure Plus works with the 06 mod.
dsmith258
Just broke MVP 2005 after a long break. Download the MVP 06 mod, and then update the rosters with Ultimate Rosters Plus edition. Does the mods give you the 2006 season? Also, could you remind me how to DL the mods, i,e; folders, etc. Thanks

snepp
Patch 3 was the first patch that included a fix for the stuttering. Patches 4 and 5 are just patch 3 + a roster update.

medric822
Hey, just looked at this quickly, but if someone hasn't said yet, I will. "go into the program files for MVP 2K5 go to the data folder, and move the stadiums folder, the models big, and the profile big to a safe place, preferabily the desktop. Then delete the entire MVP folder from the hard drive, including the recycle bin. Then re-download the game. place these saved files back into the game files, and your set to go!" There, those are my instructions on how to fix the MVP Patch 5. Enjoy.
