HuPeRcHiLd
Certain guys have different Homerun reactions (Griffey, Pujols, Ortiz, Edmonds, Sosa and more) right after they have hit a bomb. Is there a way to get CAP's/other players to react like this?
BrooklynNets24
i was wondering that also because i like the way Ramierez Reacts when he Hits a HR
kgbaseball
Depends on the stance they're given. People with Pujols' stance will do Pujols' reaction.
JoeyMcM93
As kg said, it depends on the batting stance. The celebrations are programmed in to the stance.
RaptorQuiz
As kg said, it depends on the batting stance. The celebrations are programmed in to the stance. Uhhh - I've definately found that to be untrue. Giving someone the same stance has never given them that unique player's HR-celebration when I've created (or edited) players... they just do a generic homerun celebration. I think I read in another thread that the HR-celebration is actually hard-coded to those certain players.
mike_arrrr
I created a character and he had a players celebration.
Sharpshooter
I might be wrong but I think someone mentioned something in the datafile about this. Don't quote me, but maybe you can start there.
HuPeRcHiLd
Yeah, the stance does NOT determine their reaction. I have created guys with those stances (Pujols, Ramirez, Sosa) and they don't do anything special when they hit one out. Maybe it's linked to their actual name? Anyone who has a CAP that does special HR reactions should post exactly how they made that player. Maybe it has to do with having a Ramirez stand and playing the same position as Manny (LF). I'll try that now but I doubt that's it. I've never edited the datafile so someone let me know if that's how it can be changed. MVPedit doesn't appear to have any way to change it, at least I can't find it.
D-Unit
there was a thread a while ago made by sizemore concerning this stuff. you guys should search for it in the forums. i cant seem to find it.

Sandlot
What would it be? Everyone on the field pull out a syringe in his honor. No, like someone else said. Maybe have the players and fans give a hand to one of the greatest players to ever play the game?

ixcuincle
Maybe have the players and fans give a hand to one of the greatest players to ever play the game? Only at SBC Park , it would be unrealistic for that to occur at Citizen's Bank Park or any opponent's ballpark not in the San Fran / Oakland vicinity ;)
Rabbit4Heisman
You give a created player Pujols ID number, and he'll do his HR reaction. It's all in the player IDs.
HuPeRcHiLd
No, like someone else said. Maybe have the players and fans give a hand to one of the greatest players to ever play the game? --------------------------- He's a cheater and he, Sosa, and McGwire should all be stripped of their tained records. How can anyone support and cheater? All those guys have cheapened the records of this beautiful and storied game. Baseball would have been better off if those guys never played. Barry is lucky the HR happened in the Bay Area or it would have been a boo-fest. The Babe hit his HR when he was drunk! Barry did it when he was on elephant growth hormone. What a joke.
