The pitching mini game is literally impossible.

On rookie setting with the pitching minigame difficulty slider set to easiest, and hitting all perfect pitches, i still can't get more than 500 points (minimum needed is 1000) in the 30 seconds it gives me.

I'm not sure if this is something that changed in the MVP06 mod, because if you let the game go into demo mode sometimes it shows the mini game, with the person given at least 60 seconds, and scoring WAY more points.

Anyway, as it stands, it is completely unbeatable. Just my $0.02.

You need to take out more than 1 square at a time. You get significantly more points if you take them out in combos (meaning same colors touching each other). I think my largest hit was something like 20 squares in the same pitch, HUGE points. Also, when you hit the point mark you are given additional time.

I know this. I always go after the largest grouping of colors.

I tried for two hours and didn't once get a score above 500.

I guess I'm at a loss here. You should be able to accidentally score higher than 500.
