mike_arrrr
When I go to change portraits and I load it up... it kicks back to the old portrait. The only one I got to work was the new Pena face. The rest just loaded up the old faces. Any solutions?
ebh0113
You have to delete the old .fsh file first if you're adding a 2X portrait.
mike_arrrr
I've tried to delete it and now that i've done it.. everytime I try to load it it just shows No Picture. Something buggy with MVPEdit?
kgbaseball
No, it's because you have the "Export 2x Portraits" unchecked.
ebh0113
yeah, I should've mentioned that too, but I was very sleepy.
Y2J420
Actually I think it is something with MVPEdit because I've done the same thing and "Export 2X Portraits" has been checked... Whenever I go into MVPEdit now all players are missing their portraits. When I enter the game they're all there (except for the ones I deleted and can't retrieve)... DustinTheWin
you must check both 2x portraits and 2x cyberfaces...this also happened to me but this fixes it
Y2J420
I've had both checked and the portraits still won't appear...in the "New Face" window, Jim Thome's .bmp that I'm importing is massive... All players are missing their portraits...

kgbaseball
heh, the problem now is that he has the wrong folder checked. In the MVPEdit Options, make sure you double click on the "data" folder where it says "MVP Baseball Data Directory."
alcoholicstepfather
Is there a way to change team names in MVPedit? Basically, I want to delete an entire organization to create the Rome Braves, Danville Braves, plus using one of their minor league teams to hold my injured players. I don't want to play with these rosters, just am trying to create as many of the Braves minor league players as possible. Any help will be appreciated. Jim825
In order to change the team names, you need to edit the team.dat and tstat.dat roster files. These files can be edited with a text editor. Once you modify these files, import the roster files into MVPEdit. Your new team names will now appear. Note that this will only make the team names visible in MVPEdit. In order to get the team names to show up in the game, you will need to edit the FEENG.LOC and IGENG.LOC files (these are in your MVP Baseball 2005 data folder). These can be edited using the loclook tool (which you can download from the files section of MVPMods).
