Mvpmod.com History

Well, Trues is the founder and they've had the site up since April 14, 2004, I think. I am also very interested to hear some of the early MVPmods history.

Well, that's a bit misleading. We went online in February of 2004 to be exact. And we were going along our merry way until we changed the board's software near the end of April of that year. And when that happened, everyone had to re-register again.

Just out of curiosity Snepp, why aren't you a moderator here?

Trues stripped me of my super-human powers after I went awol.

I spent more of my time modifying databases and forum code than I did actually moderating anyway.

The site really took off about a week before the release of MVP '05. We had been around 3,000 members for a while, and ever since then, we've "exploded" to where we are now.

I remember then.. I had just joined then.. well like 2 or 3 months before. I think I was the leading downloader.. (I downloaded A LOT!)

Man - I would have saved a lot of time and effort if I had found this place earlier! I was in the process of modding the rosters as best as I could and at the same time googling MVP baseball downloads. But, this website didn't come up, how I found out about it was at ESPN's forums, someone mentioned it there.
