skte1ement
I love owner mode and Madden and it sounds like this game would be perfect for me. I just do not believe that EA will be able to come up with the quality of game that we are all imagining in our heads right now. I am definantly going to check it out but I am not overyly excited. EA has a nasty track record of getting tons of undeserved hype. I will definantly try to get Cutler also, even though I will give Jake another shot. Thats a whole different discussion (by the way are you on the broncos board?). Walker is also a must and I think I might try to move Lelie so he can threaten hold outs and believe he deserves to be the number 1 reciever somewhere else. Redsoxkid
I believe you can just recreate the draft or redo the draft with all of the players.
sfgiantsflgators
I don't see the appeal of this game over Madden, mainly. It sounds to me like the owner mode of Madden (which I love, don't get me wrong) without being able to play the games. I think I'd rather just get Madden and do all of the management and play the games. it's built for the people that don't really care about playing the actual game - and from random people i've talked too there's more than i thought. i've played madden since 95 but the last couple years i have yet to play a full season...usually i just get to around week 10 and decide to sim the rest because, even on all madden, i usually go 15-1 or 16-0 so it gets old. the off season stuff is still fun for me though so i'll give this game a shot - hopefully, like skte1ement alluded to, EA doesn't drop the ball. aaronuconn
Ya, same with me. I usually win 14+ a season even on hard sliders. I really like the offseason part of madden so Im guessing I will love this game.
snepp
What I want... Front Office Football + Front Page Sports Football + NFL Head Coach + NFL 2k5 = Football bliss
Filthy57
I do love the owner mode stuff (drafting, trading, etc.), but I still think being able to play the games trumps getting more in-depth with everything. A deeper draft system would be good for Madden, though.
skte1ement
For you guys going 15-1 I have some sliders that would definantly provide a challenge. It turns the game into a good old defensive slug out, and trust me theres no way you will be going 15-1. PM me if you want them, I think I could still find them possibly. D-Unit
Texans fans can recreate the monumental mistake of drafting Williams #1. lol.....i dont know much about football or college football, but i know who reggie bush is....how do you not draft him... ixcuincle
because they thought drafting mario williams would set up a cornerstone for a houston texans "super bowl defense" which is ignorant logic. Reggie Bush is an offensive superstar while Mario Williams is merely an above-average defense player. It is a mistake they will regret... I'd like to run the front office but I would also like to participate in the on-the-field details i.e. controlling the qb , who he throws to , controlling the RB and having him juke / charge up the middle etc. As for Madden it does get a bit boring after a while when my Redskins teams constantly make the playoffs. There is a bit of intrigue because I have only won one super bowl , and I recently made the sliders more difficult. However , the events going on in my NBA and MLB franchises are extremely important and combined with BF1942 time there is barely time to run my Madden franchise. I just wish people would mod overlays for Madden like they do for MVP...imagine the ABC MNF overlay in Madden or the FOX overlay :D
