danc Posted May 23, 2006 Share Posted May 23, 2006 I might as well insert this here. I reinstalled mvp05 then tc,61,and 06 without useing any eapatches. Dipstick!! After using kraw's stutter fix I haven't noticed any significant problems. Is it worth starting all over to get patch 3?? Others on this site have modded w/out any patches and haven't had any problems. So, I would say if you have no need to patch, I think stuttering is the main issue addressed, then I would leave well enough alone. odymandrell Posted May 26, 2006 Share Posted May 26, 2006 I did the same thing, however, I just installed patch 5. I've already installed MVP 06. So before I unistall and reinstall a fresh copy so I can install patch 3, can someone point me to Kraw's stutter fix file(s)? My game stutters as well. I searched in the files under "kraw" and "stutter" and even just "stutter" and nothing is showing up. danc Posted May 27, 2006 Share Posted May 27, 2006 Another thing that I have noticed is that pitching is very difficult. Does patch 3 or 5 have the more forgiving pitching overlay? If not where can I get the larger overlay? Thanks. BTW, I would love to get the pitch choice overlay with the "hands" showing how each pitch is "gripped/thrown" I miss it, it has not been available after the Kraw multiloader install. I think it came with the the total classics install but with the multiloader I am not sure how to use tc to change it. I've noticed that you can't get them from EA anymore. #2 Is that stutter fix file still available somewhere? Is it a fix that's not available through an EA Patch? #3 Once I have the broken Soriano's Roster installed, do I pretty much have to reinstall MVP (for the 4th time, sheesh!) to be able to play again? Iceman Posted September 19, 2006 Share Posted September 19, 2006 The only patch I've ever installed was the first one, which was just a roster update. I never felt the need to update to a newer patch. Should I get patch 3 or 5, or both? Does it do anything besides fix stuttering and update your rosters? Also, does anyone know each and every file that's modified, so I can correct them afterwards? I would appreciate it.
