What are the variables we use for contract and star power? Ex. 356(in mvpedit money format)/4 for the contract? and for star power is it 1-5 or what?

i used in-game contract values and star values of 1 - 5. you only need to input the dollar amount of the contract (in millions). for example, if a player is making 100k for 3 yrs, put .1 in the contract slot.

i have a new spreadsheet which is more accurate and hopefully i can post that later.

Is there any way somebody could convert these to a word document or something people w/o modded game systems could use??? It sounds very useful and highly helpful--if only I could get access to it :(.

Anyhow, keep up the great work!!!

How does this actually work though all i see is a spreadsheet laid out what calculates the value?

im gonna write a readme but just fill in the green and teal boxes. your team is at the top and the comp's team is at the bottom (under the bolded line). at both the top and bottom there is a left and right side, left being for hitter while the right is for the pitcher.

i will clean this up and make it easier to read. i have also updated the formulas. im getting pretty decent results with the new tweaks. im going to wait till i get niner's sheet to make another release.

Im talking the spreadsheet. I don't have a modded xbox and the spreadsheet won't work-therefore maybe somebody could convert this to word or office and send it to me???

Thanx.

What are you talking about?

Having a modded Xbox has nothing to do with being able to use it. It's nothing more than an Excel spreadsheet.

The spreadsheet is to be opened on your PC WITH MS Office, not on any Xbox. Then, you just use the info it provides in MVP on your Xbox by turning fair trades off.

when i download the file, and try to open it winrar says the file is corrupt, and then it doesnt show any files in the folder

thats weird. try saving the file to your hd and opening it that way.

i received ninerdynasty's sheet and am going over it in attempt to release a sheet in which you can make "uneven" fair trades (read: 2 for 1 or 3 for 2 etc.) and i also want to clean it up a bit. i will most likely leave the file unprotected so any user can change the formulas as they see fit.

thanks for everyone's interest in my project.

I know star value is a number from 1-5 but what determines that value since MVP doesnt have star value as an attribute/stat??

in MVPedit you can see star value. it ranges from none (1) to awesome (5). also, if you edit a player you can see their star value.

1 - None

2 - Some

3 - Average

4 - Lots

5 - Awesome

here is version 1.3 of the trade analyzer.

for pitchers, i want to make boxes to show what league they are in (MLB, AAA and so on) and to downgrade respectively. i believe this will make pitchers compare more evenly to hitters so we can really get an accurate value of each player.

im thinking of using IF commands for the league boxes. does anyone know of a better way to do this?

sounds awsome!!!

maybe there is a problem with the boxes for the pitchers:

with those boxes it should be possible to cheat a little bit, or isn´t it?

because then i can call up a pitcher from double a or so, and the analyzer thinks that he is better than he really is ...

Hey moto

Kind of just happened upon this thread and the trade analyzer is great.

Just a quick question on reading the values and understanding them. The player I'm trying to trade is 408.50 and the player I am wanting is 351.60. So is this trade considered fair or unfair.

My guy's salary is a little more and I remember reading a post awhile ago by UncleMo about lowering my payroll and increasing the other teams to kind of even things out.
