Jack319
I read a thread where someone was emplaining how to edit the sky in a stadium by using fshedit, but it was a very thin explanation. I tried it anyways but all I got out of it was a crash. I also could'nt find any tutorials on it anywhere. I would like to replace the day sky in USC Field with the dusk sky in Fenway Park. Could anyone be so kinda as to explain how to do that? From what I've read, there's a few who would probibly love that too. :)
Thome25
Well I'm not too keen on the stadium files but if you extract the sky0.fsh from a stadium.big and drop it into nfshtool it will create a folder with the ski inside. I never edited the sky before but I would guess you would take that approach. So once nfshtool creates the folder with the ski in it, their will be another file called index also inside. Once you finish editing just open the index with nfshtool and it will repack it into the shi0.fsh for you. Then just reimport the ski0.fsh back into the stadium.big and make sure everything is conpressed.
Jack319
TY Thome25 it worked like a charm! For anyone who may want to know, this is how I did it. I created 2 seperate folders. Then I copied both usceday.big and fenwday.big and dumped one into one folder and the other into the other folder. Then I used bigGUI to open each .big file and extracted the sky.fsh file from each into the same folder as the .big I extracted it from. So now I have 2 folders, each with its own .big file and sky.fsh file. Next I used nfshtool to open each sky.fsh file and it created a folder with the .bmp inside along with a file called index. Then I replaced the usc bmp with the fenw bmp then clicked on the index file from the usc folder. It repacked it. Then used bigGUI to import it back into the usceday.big then dumped it back into my stadium folder. But now I gotta figure out how to change the lighting on the field to correspond with the dusk sky. Anyone know how?
