pdub
Today the cpu attempted to pickoff Kenny Lofton at first unsuccessfully. As soon as the camera changes back to the batting camera the cpu picks off Kenny(that *******!!) with no delay. I have to wait until the pitch icons show up to attempt a pickoff but I thought you could attempt one before they show up like the cpu does. Has anyone been able to do the "no delay" pickoff move? If so, how do you do it?

xiberger
Yeah, the infamous "replay move". Boy, the CPU always gets me on that one... :x
pdub
The weird thing is, I remember performing it once, and I did the same thing I always do, L1 and the base.
Sarginto
I love how the computer picks off your runners at its own convenience. Even in a one step lead, I get picked off a lot. It always happens after a big base hit too.
MarkB
Yep, it gets me too. It'll ty the pickoff 4 times in a row without success, then throw a pitch (usually a pitchout), then try a pickoff agin, then do the quick pickoff and get the runner before you even have a chance to retreat the runner. Bring on the hit and runs.
