Question regarding rotation

Hey everyone, new to the board - I've played MVP 05 for quite awhile but just read about this site and let me just say, I'm excited to try all of these files out :D

My question may be stupid.. I searched on the board but didn't find the question but I'm sure it probably has been asked at some point. I'm about to start a new season and it is automatically making my #3 pitcher start rather than by #1. Is there a way to make the computer know who you are trying to start (like resetting the rotation so it starts at #1 again) without having to maneuver everyone's rotation spot? Hopefully this is clear enough to understand, maybe some of the updates here fix it or something. Let me know, thanks :)

Starting the second season in owner mode

and yea, I know you can click who you want to start, but that gets obnoxious since it's suppose to cycle but there is no way you can really set how the computer cycles it (that I know of). Like if it's suppose to be my #1's turn, I can put him in instead of my #3, but then next game it will try to start my #4 when I want my #2 to go and so on. Is there a way to fix this so I don't have to click the pitcher I want every time?

Here's a solution for your exact problem.

Let's say you want it to be your #1 starter's turn, but the game is highlighting the #4.

1. Go to "Edit Rotation"

2. Sub a reliever into the #1 spot

3. Sub your #1 starter from the bullpen into the #4 spot

4. Sub your #4 starter from the bullpen into the #1 spot

5. Flip-flop the #1 and #4 starters

Your rotation will be unchanged, and the #1 guy will be highlighted. The next game your #2 will selected.

i always had that issue. but i just rearranged that the number one guy would go on time and the number two guy would pitch, and then reset my rotation as it should have been. but that works too lol.
