tks
I have loaded over a dozen face mods but for some reason, I cannot get the Matsui mod to load properly. I have tried 2 versions...Boricuapapi and Kerms....One (Kerms) installed with a "bat" file and the other using the "GUI"/ models.big method. Regardless....I always get a generic (face 6) when I look in the edit file or play a game using Matsui. I imagine there might be something in the "models.big" folder that does not allow the change, even though I get an "O.K" when I install using either method.....Strange indeed. :?: Any thoughts from anyone?? Also, while on the subject of face mods, I sure wish I understood the process of making cyberfaces but seems much too complex for my simplistic mind....Therefore, wondering if any more are on the horizon since there hasn't been much "action" lately. Obviously I would love to see some Cubbie faces but I realize beggers can't be choosers so I'll take what I can get. :)
Larry013
Maybe this is a dumb question, but have you used MVPEdit to change Kaz Matsui's cyberface to #29? The reason you have to do that on Matsui's and not others, is that Kaz doesn't come with a stock cyberface at all. So you have to change the assignment in MVPEdit, or else it will use the generic face.
tks
Larry... Not a dumb question at all. I thought the same thing and I tried it both ways....That is, assigning "face29" in MVPedit before adding the cyberface and also assigned face 29 after adding the cyberface. Same result....Go into the game and Matsui still has the generic face #6 which is actually is not blanked out, allowing me to change to any other generic face available in the game. However, the other mod faces assigned numbers cannot be changed in the game once they have been loaded. Strange indeed!

tks
Were you in an old dynasty? Nope...Had a system crash about a week ago so I'm building everything back to the way it was and haven't even started a dynasty yet. This Matsui cyberface situation obviously isn't critical but I just can't understand what is causing the problem. Maybe I did something to the master "models.big" file but I sure don't know what that would be....I made a copy of the data folder prior to doing all this and then went into that folder and copied "models.big" back into the data directory and I still can't get the Matsui face correct. I guess it is just one of those mysteries of life.
