palpatine2k7
First off, great site. I have been playing MVP05 since I bought it on the release date. With no other graphic based baseball games on PC (I am not really into OOTP or text games). I am getting a little tired of the game, so I am trying to find mods to enhance my playing experience for the new season. My question is what mods do you all suggest I try? I do have a current season with my drafted A's team going now. I have looked through numerous downloads section and I am having a hard time trying to figure out what is worth downloading. I really do not want to spend time on something I am going to uninstall 2 seconds after I get it (which I have done a few times). I do have KC's uniform pack installed and some bat/ball mods as well (Freakin awesome BTW). I am looking for good rosters, datafiles, camera angles ect. Simply something that will get me to keep playing. Thanks in advance

Simply something that will get me to keep playing. Thanks in advance Welcome to the site. I might've recommended doing a more thourough search of the forums (msg boards) before posting this - just because people are becoming a little short tempered around here with this type of question... however... ...as to answering your question: I would suggest you wait a little bit for the impending release of the MVP '06 total conversion mod. If you search the forums you might be able to find a link to where the beta version is being hosted so you could get the "original" version of it - but the new version is coming soon. (I'd say within a couple weeks). EDIT: you might still be able to get the beta version by clicking the following link - then going all the way to the very bottom of the page: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?name=Downloads&c=2 If you DO get the beta version - the only additional mods I'd say are truly neccesary to d/l to go with it is a patch that took out the hi-res uniforms (if you experience "stuttering" after installing the mod), Pirate's new Busch Stadium (III), and the datafile that fixes some camera issues with the beta version of the mod. Then you could just download whoever has the most current rosters (I prefer Ultimate Rosters, but SwinginSoriano has a good set as well). You should be able to find any info you need on the MVP '06: MLB mod in this set of forums: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?name=Foru...=viewforum&f=40 I hope this helps you. And once again, welcome to the site.

RaptorQuiz
Many thanks. I am sorry for my pre-mature post as I do not mean to cause any trouble on this site. I will do as you suggested. Thanks again. I didn't mean to imply you were actually causing trouble at all - it's just that the amount of questions surrounding the MVP '06 mod have become amazingly insane. Sometimes the people working on it get a little frustrated and get a little... "moody," shall we say. Which I can understand since they're doing a lot of work on what is, when it comes down to it, a major FREE update to a game we all love. I was just trying to help you out and make sure you didn't accidentally annoy anybody right off the bat just cuz you weren't familiar with what was going on around here yet. And check my first post up above - I edited it with a link where you might be able to get the beta.
xx74xx
Welcome to the site. First and foremost, I haven't installed the MVP '06 mod, as I'll wait for the final version, so this applies to the '05 version. I'll list my system specs, hopefully it'll give you an idea if you can run the same mods as I, which in fact are awesome thanks to the hard work done here. HP Pavilion a305w Desktop PC Intel Celeron 2.7 GHz 400 MHz Front side bus 1 GB RAM Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition NVIDIA GeForce 6200 OC PCI 256MB Video Card The following are mods i've installed: Audio: Custom Organ 1.0 Batter Walkup Music (full or "lite" version) MLB on FOX Music Pack (v2.0) Total Audio 2005 0.61 Datafiles: Datafile to Make Crowd Louder No Foul Swing Replays Overlays: MLB on FOX '06 Overlay Portraits: Total Portraits 2005 - Complete Set Stadiums: ALL stadiums done by Pirate Misc: Grasschanger Mod Just by installing the aformentioned mods, you will be AMAZED at what this does for '05. Hope this helps.
