Ghostdog
First of all, I hope this is the right place to post this, if not Admins feel free to move this post. Last night i was playing against the Mets at CBP and saw a fielder making a catch in the stands for the first time after playing MVP 2k5 since day one. David Wright fouled off a ball that headed towards the seats behind 3rd base and Pat Burrell reached over the short wall and made the catch 8O (btw. i play on assisted fielding). I was really excited because i always thought that making these kind of plays would add more realism to the game. I'm just curious if that's a matter of assisted or manual fielding. What do you guys think?
medric822
both, you can do it with the gamepad or keyboard. It's fun taking homers away.
Ghostdog
I know that one can rob homers, but i'm reffering to a catch that was near the dugout and a foul ball. I've never seen that kind of play neither by one of my players nor by the CPU. Totally new to me...
Sandlot
Yeah, it's cool, but it's always the same animation.

But is it possible to reach into the front seats in Left field in Fenway?

xiberger
I once reached over the short fence in right field at Fenway and brought back a homerun. Great feeling... 8)

Zaunnieboi
Heh, robbing homers is fun. Especially if its in the world series against the '05 Marlins to win it all. I can only manage to do it with Catalanotto though, and not Johnson or Wells
