C4Money
Hi Guys, Here's my problem. I am in two online leagues and have played probably about 90+ games between the two leagues, with no problems. I've tried to play this one particular guy about 5 times and something strange happens. We'll play, doesn't matter if I host or he hosts, the game loads fine. We'll continue to play, all of a sudden after maybe a few batters the game we're playing restarts itself. For example, in one league, I'm the Tigers. Had Polanco lead up who gets a hit, the next guy gets a hit, the next guy hits a HR.....then after he hits a HR, all of a sudden that guy who hit the HR is now back up at bat again, with like 2 strikes and 2 outs, with no score-seems like it restarts itself. I'll pause the game to chat with my opponent and it seems like he's playing a totally different game, with those players doing something different from what happened in my game. (Sorry to ramble, but this was the only way to explain it). I have the Livin' Large DL, the 6.0 Rosters (I know there are ones that were updated, but we use this one), the datafile (pitching meter), Patch #3 and the stutter fix. What could be the problem here? Do one of us have a corrputed file or something different from the other? Like I said, I've played 90+ games and never had this problem. Thanks for the time and hopefully one of you "all knowing" fellas can shead some light. Thanks.

C4Money
Wrong datafile!!! Both of us? One of us? I've used this same datafile for 90+ games.
C4Money
Any other suggestions besides the datafile, guys?
snepp
Have you tried playing in a different stadium?
Filthy57
I think he (Buffa) meant that if you have two different datafiles, that'll cause some problems.
C4Money
Have you tried playing in a different stadium? Yup....we've tried Fenway, the other...Comerica. :(
C4Money
I think he (Buffa) meant that if you have two different datafiles, that'll cause some problems. It's strange....we both have the same file size. He reinstalled everything, so I think we'll try it again sometime today. Hopefully it was just something flukey on his end. Filthy57
The same file size, or the same file? You need the same datafile. Just both download the same datafile (MaddiesDaddy's datafile or something like that) and try it again.

We both just reinstalled the same datafile (which we should have had for the league we're in, anyways), so we'll see how it goes from there. Just strange, I played him last week with no problems, then all of a sudden it's restarting. Just one of those things, I suppose.

It may be the same file size, & the same maker of the file. but one may have been changed somewhat. (like perhaps an update) An easy way to figure if this is so, would be to check the DATE of the file.
C4Money
What datafile is it? It may be the same file size, & the same maker of the file. but one may have been changed somewhat. (like perhaps an update) An easy way to figure if this is so, would be to check the DATE of the file. We are both using one that is dated April 11. Do you think a complete reinstall of everything is in order? This is so frustrating. =/
homerun21
I had this problem with a friend as well, I never even thought the datafile could be the problem.
