redsfan328
I have a mix of the current rosters and the old players (I have all the starters, but some of my backups don't play for them anymore, I had to do it myself because I am on Ps2.) I'm new here, so any help to improve my dynasty would be appreiciated.

redsfan328
@ Reds win pitchers duel in 13th The Reds sat through 13 grueling innings, but it paid off. Adam Dunn's RBI single in the 13th gave the Reds a 1-0 win on Opening day at Great American Ballpark. Aaron Harang pitched brilliantly, throwing 11(that's not a misprint, ELEVEN) innings of four-hit, scoreless baseball, striking out four. They finally brought him out to begin the twelfth, bringing in Justin Germano, who pitched 2 scoreless innings. Cincinnati let Germano hit in the 12th after a Jason LaRue single to start the inning. He struck out trying to bunt, and Felipe Lopez flied out, and it seemed like another inning was on the way. But Brandon Phillips' single kept the inning alive, and Dunn's bloop single ended it. Not to go unmentioned, Pedro Martinez pithed 9 innings of five-hite scoreless baseball, also striking out four. Mike Dejean pitched one inning, and Braden Looper gave up the hit to Dunn. redsfan328
@ Kearns homers in loss The Reds struggled today, falling 3-1 to the Mets at Great American Ballpark. Austin Kearns hit his first homer of the year, but that was all the offense Cincy could muster against Tom Glavine. Bronson Arroyo pitched well, but was saddled with the loss. redsfan328
@ Ausmus powers 'Stros Brad Ausmus hit two homers, and the Reds conitnued to struggle with a 5-4 loss at Minute Maid Park in Houston. Perhaps the game-saving play was Jason Lane robbing new Red Jason Bay of a solo homer in the 5th inning, as the Reds had a late rally halted. This is a promising young ballclub." said Olerud. Hattberg was batting an emabarrasing .071 through 4 games. The Reds also moved Ryan Freel into the starting lineup over the struggling Rich Aurilia. redsfan328
@ Bats come alive in win The Reds scored the same amount of runs today as they did in the previous four games combined, taking game 2 of the series against Houston, 6-3. Elizardo Ramirez pitched great, not allowing a run until the seventh inning. Ryan Freel hit 2 homers, including one on the first pitch of the game. The reds pounded out 10 hits. Ken Griffey Jr. hit his first home run of the season in a 4-run third. Jason Bay hit a double, then scored on a two-base error by Lance Berkman. The ball ricocheted of the wall in right-center, then rolled up the hill in center and Berkman couldn't judge it. Even EZ got in on the fun, hitting a single in the third that set up Freel's second homer. Houston commited three errors. Jeff Bagwell hit a home run in the first inning, and an RBI single from Jason Lane and an RBI double from Jose Vizcaino in the 4th made it 3-0. A home run by Jason LaRue in the fifth and one by John Olerud in the 7th made it a one-run game, and an RBI double from Jason Bay in the 8th tied it up.
