TigersFan13x
Ok I just found out about this website today and all I can say is WOW! I have had MVP 2005 since it came out and was looking for opening day rosters for the 2006 season. I not only found that but much more, Thanks to everyone that helped to make the things on this site. I am a little confused tho. I would like to start a season with opening day 2006 rosters and anything else that would help make my Tigers Franchise better. Ive looked at the files section, but I couldnt decided what was best for me to get so if you could help me out that would be great. Thanks again and GO TIGERS!!! JoeyMcM93
OK well first off, welcome to MVPmods. I think you will really enjoy this site. If all you want is updated rosters, I would go with Ultimate Rosters v6.5. If you want the full package, get the MVP 06 Beta and then update the rosters. Give me a minute to find you some links... TigersFan13x
Thanks a lot. Another question, what does that mod include? Does it include updated jerseys, schedules, faces, stadiums, etc.... or just rosters and when will the beta become like an official "mod" Thanks again I appreciate your help! GO TIGERS!!! JoeyMcM93
The Beta includes almost every update on the site as of Opening Day. The final version will be out once the new portraits are done - 14 teams are done so far. After you get the Beta you will need to download the new rosters for them to be up-to-date. TigersFan13x
ok so if i downloaded that beta it would include everything up to opening day 2006 except rosters which i would then download after. Also, when is the expected release of the final version. Thanks for answering all of my questions. GO TIGERS!!!
TigersFan13x
Last question, would sliders be included in that or not? Thanks again and sorry for all the questions. GO TIGERS!!!
JoeyMcM93
The sliders have been tweaked within the game files themselves. I would say the All-Star break is a reasonable date for the final version, portraits take a while when you do about 100 for each team. Regarding the rosters, the ones included in the 06 mod are up-yo-date as of opening day, so if you want the newest ones, download UR 6.5 +. Another roster is in the making that will be proably be the best, but its still a ways off.
TigersFan13x
So if i want everything(schedule, rosters, faces, presentation, stadiums, and sound) up to date as of Opening Day 2006 all I need to do is download that beta mod? With all of this stuff in it does it ever frezze or stall? Thanks again and GO TIGERS!!!
JoeyMcM93
The Beta does have some issues, but nothing too big. Once the final is out it will be running great. Remeber though, whenever you clash manufactuer and something else, issues will arise. The final will also include new stadiums that have come out since opening dat etc. Have fun! TigersFan13x
Last question I promise. lol Are the minor league teams, rosters and stadiums accurate as of Opening Day 2006? And is this in the mod:http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?name=Downloads&file=details&id=3018 Thanks once again GO TIGERS!!!
JoeyMcM93
Yes, minor league rosters are included with updated team names. Uniforms are included, but there have been some new releases since opening day. That face MIGHT be included. I'm not sure, sorry.

JoeyMcM93
Lol, it's OK. Just keep asking. Yes, you can add more mods once you download the Beta, I recommend it!
bluenotebacker
In the Read Me for the UR v6.5 Plus it says to "• Place the models.big file in your mvp baseball 2005/data folder and the uniforms.big file in your mvp baseball 2005/data/frontend folder. " Those two files are not in the package I downloaded, should they be or are they seperate downloads?
JoeyMcM93
Seperate.

bluenotebacker
Finally got the 06 mod & UR v6.5 installed and running and while there were still a few adjustments to be made to the Cardinals roster (I know, I know, it's still beta) I have to say that the game KICKS ***! Because of the beta-ness of it, I'll refrain from mentioning any specifics, but if someone who's adding to the mod wants my 2 cents on the Cards just ask I started my Cards dynasty (there's a specific thread for posting dynasty stuff, right?) and beat the Phillies in a very realistic game, 3-0, Carpenter got the win, Izzy the save, and Pujols hit a solo shot, wheeee! I am playing with Al Reyes & Ricardo Rincon, even though I know they're out for the season, but what else can I do?
RaptorQuiz
Also, from a Card fan... don't forget to add Pirate's new Busch Stadium (III). It's not in the beta, but you can add it in... here: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?name=Down...details&id=3009 it's very nice :D

Filthy57
I no this is a stupid question but i must have missed it. Did the beta come with a Read-Me? If so could u give me a link to it. Thanks a lot. GO TIGERS!!! I'm sure it's part of the file. They wouldn't release a file of this magnitude without a readme attached. Check the .rar archive for it.
