The ball goes in that direction depending on the pitch type and the speed. Drag bunting means you're actually taking a step before you bunt the ball, whereas in MVP you are stationary until the ball is hit. Yessie4200 Posted July 7, 2004 Share Posted July 7, 2004 there some player like ichiro who run before they even hit the ball i do it all the time or im probably just my imagination.. last game i played Luis Rivas dragged bunt on me hes so quick i wasnt able to get to the ball and throw him out.
