smithc555
While playing a game, everytime I plow over the catcher, the run is counted weather he holds onto the ball or not. 1. Does anyone else have this problem? 2. Any suggestions? Thanks
JoeyMcM93
Is this with MVP 06 or 05? Do you have something like new catchers gear that would affect the catcher?
kgbaseball
It happens very rarely; I've only had it happen once, and I think you have to have perfect timing to make it work.
fred13
everytime i try to do it I either slide head first or dont slide at all.
JoeyMcM93
You have to time it right. Wait longer than you would for a slide and it should work.
smithc555
Its happened the last 3 times i did it and its with MVP
devils6889
that just happened to me w/o the 06 mod. it looked like he held onto it, but if i look at the replay slowly, the ball actually barely popped out of the glove for a split second.
KronicJaY
I must have ran the cetcher over 15+ times using mvp 05 and 06 mods since i've had the game, everytime he hangs onto the damn ball, he will never drop it.
69Yanks
For those who want to just try and see it in action, setup a scenario in the scenario selector and have the guy at third base steal home and hold the correct controller buttons for the collosion just before home plate. gangstar
I thought this was hard at first as well, but as I real life its all about your timing. If you plow him down right after/as he is catching the ball he will drop it and it will work right. To sum it up practice like Yanks said and you'll become a pro in no time.
