pip07
I am using an original Xbox controller S. I own a SmartJoy X2 USB adapter cable and I am using V. 1.07 of the XBCD drivers (latest ones.) I searched around the support forums for the past 2 days for .cfg files and I have tried numerous configs for the right analog stick but for some reason I have trouble diving, sliding, and also taking leadoffs. Everything else in my config is perfect except for the r-stick. Here is my current config profile= XBCD_XBox_Gamepad device= XBCD_XBox_Gamepad player= 1 number_of_buttons= 12 number_of_povs= 1 number_of_axis= 7 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_START= button 10 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_SELECT= button 9 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_CROSS= button 2 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_CIRCLE= button 3 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_SQUARE= button 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_TRIANGLE= button 4 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L1= button 5 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R1= button 6 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L2= button 7 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R2= button 8 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L3= button 11 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R3= button 12 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_DPAD_UP= pov0 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_DPAD_DOWN= pov180 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_DPAD_LEFT= pov270 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_DPAD_RIGHT= pov90 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_RIGHT= axis- 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_LEFT= axis+ 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_UP= axis+ 2 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_DOWN= axis- 2 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_RIGHT= axis+ 4 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_LEFT= axis- 4 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_UP= axis+ 5 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_DOWN= axis- 5 VPAD_PITCH_1= button 2 VPAD_PITCH_2= button 3 VPAD_PITCH_3= button 1 VPAD_PITCH_4= button 4 VPAD_PITCH_5= button 6 VPAD_FIELD_PICK_OFF_THROW_FIRST= button 3 VPAD_FIELD_PICK_OFF_THROW_SECOND= button 4 VPAD_FIELD_PICK_OFF_THROW_THIRD= button 1 VPAD_PITCH_OUT= button 2 VPAD_THROW_BALL= not_assigned -1 VPAD_INTENTIONAL_WALK= button 11 VPAD_INTENTIONAL_HITBATTER= button 12 VPAD_PITCH_HISTORY_OPEN= button 11 VPAD_SWING_NORMAL= button 2 VPAD_SWING_BUNT= button 12 VPAD_CHARGE_MOUND= button 4 VPAD_FIELD_THROW_FIRST= button 3 VPAD_FIELD_THROW_SECOND= button 4 VPAD_FIELD_THROW_THIRD= button 1 VPAD_FIELD_THROW_HOME= button 2 VPAD_FIELD_SWITCH= button 6 VPAD_FIELD_RELAY_THROW= button 8 VPAD_FIELD_CUTOFF_THROW= button 8 VPAD_FIELD_FAKE_RUNDOWN_THROW= button 5 VPAD_RUNNER_FIRST_SELECT= button 3 VPAD_RUNNER_SECOND_SELECT= button 4 VPAD_RUNNER_THIRD_SELECT= button 1 VPAD_RUNNER_RUNFIRST= pov90 1 VPAD_RUNNER_RUNSECOND= pov0 1 VPAD_RUNNER_RUNTHIRD= pov270 1 VPAD_RUNNER_RUNHOME2SCORE= pov180 1 VPAD_BASERUNNER_ADVANCEALL= button 7 VPAD_BASERUNNER_RETREATALL= button 8 If anyone uses the Xbox controller S and has a r-stick that actually works well with the game please post their data from the config. If anyone else has any ideas please help me. I don't know what else to try!
snepp
What exactly is the problem you're having? The dives/slides going the wrong way?
pip07
What exactly is the problem you're having? The dives/slides going the wrong way? Basically, when I try to slide it is almost always a feet first hook slide. When I try to dive in the field everything seems to be the opposite. And I think the only leadoff move I can do is advance and retreat for ALL baserunners not just one.
snepp
Well, the following 4 entries are all that controls that stick. Try this first... VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_RIGHT= axis- 4 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_LEFT= axis+ 4 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_UP= axis+ 5 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_DOWN= axis- 5 If that doesn't work right, try this combo next.... VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_RIGHT= axis- 5 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_LEFT= axis+ 5 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_UP= axis+ 4 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_DOWN= axis- 4 If that isn't quite right, there are only so many combinations to try. pip07
Oh dear...I have finally found the problem and it has to do with the XBCD program. The xgi file I downloaded from Kraw's 360 topic sets up the right analog stick is set up like this It should be set up like this This set up ensures that command with the right stick works correctly. I'll post a topic with my cfg and xgi file for others having trouble with Xbox controllers
