Dom2662
I can never finish a game anymore. Everytime i play a game it slows up all the time and i have to exit my game. When i load it up again, it is still slow. After a while, like after i go online for like 30 minutes, it is fast again then i play a game again and in maybee the 6th or 7th it slows up again. Please help!

That won't help, patch 5 icludes previous patches, including #2. Besides, I'm not sure it would install since the patch 2 executable files will be OLDER than your patched 5 one. Ubiquitous
It won't work. I have tried all that and I still have the slow down but now I also have the ... SPEED UP! So now 50% of the time it is choppy, 40% of the time it is too fast, and 10% of the time it is just fine. I honestly thought that it would be sorted after I reformatted, but alas not. I think the game is just incompatable with my geforce 4 440mx card.

When i installed my game before, i turned off the virus protection temporarily, then i put it on again after i installed it. Do u think i should put the virus protection off when i play my game? pfalvey
Yeah. Your right. When i installed my game before, i turned off the virus protection temporarily, then i put it on again after i installed it. Do u think i should put the virus protection off when i play my game? Well, I leave Mcafee virus protection on while playing MVP and the only problem I have is it occasionally minimizes MVP to check for updates, but I just cancel and re-open the game. However, I would recommend trying turning it off while playing. You may also have other background tasks in the background, as well. I've heard HP printers have software that can interfere.
