Fastball to the Glove sound over 93mph

I was wondering if it was possible to have a mod that can make the sound of a 93mph fastball happen for anything over say, 88mph, or something like that.

I'm asking because I hate how a 89mph fastball doesn't make a sound when it hits the glove and, in my opinion, I'd even like a nice sound for a 84mph slider or something like that.

Just wonderin' if it's possible, thx.

So no one knows how you would go about modding that?

Like making the sound of the ball hitting the catcher's glove louder on all pitches. I'd assume it could be done, but I don't really know.

Any help would be appreciated. It's the 1 thing that bothers me about pitching with a far away cam.

Ya. problem with that is, every pitcher will all of a sudden have 95mph fastballs and it alters the gameplay I set it at.

I'm just wondering if it's possible to alter the sound so it always makes that nice glove popping sound everytime you throw a pitch.

Just imagine that sound on a 80mph charlie. It would make striking batters out with curveballs and wutnot so much sweeter hearing that.

Your point is well taken. The "pop" of the mitt should be a lot more dramatic on hard fastballs. Also, the crack of the bat on hard-hit balls is far too weak. So far, I have not seen anyone address this.

It's not the hard fastballs I'm complaining about. It's the pitches under 90mph that gets absolutely no sound. It takes away from striking guys out with curveballs and wutnot, and it also takes away from pitcher's with 89mph fastballs.

In real life, an 89mph fastball would get a damn good sound out of the mitt. Even a knee bending 80mph curveball gets a nice pop.

I checked it out. Nice datafile but that's not at all what I mean.

I'm wondering if it's possible to make the loud pop of the catcher's mit even on say an 80mph curveball. It would make striking guys out with pitches other than a 93+mph fastball, that much sweeter.

I guess thats a no. That blows, I've always thought that would make this game much better. It would make striking out a hitter have so much more feel to it hearing the loud catcher's mitt sound on all pitches.

Because in real life, even a curveball gets a loud sound from the catcher's mitt.
