DaDonch44
I have started downloading the pictures for the 40 man rosters of all the MLB teams. So far I have 18 teams downloaded and 5 teams done (resized). I am getting the photos from the team pages at MLB.com. Its the tiny ones when you check a players profile. Once I get all 30 teams done, I will upload them for everyone... :D

DaDonch44
**UPDATE** I have finished the teams I have downloaded so far. So thats the first 19 teams in alphabetical order (Arizona Diamondbacks - Oakland Athletics) - 748 Portraits.... Now, I'm going to start downloading the rest of the teams... :D
DaDonch44
ALL 30 teams are done and I just submitted the file for download... so it should be up shortly once it gets approved. There are 1,183 portraits in the download, basically all the 40 man rosters of the teams. (Most of the recent trades are included to). But if there are any problems or players I missed, please tell me. I tried as best I could to make sure there were no conflicts, but I'm sure I missed some here and there. Enjoy! :D
kgbaseball
This will be pretty nice; I always wondered how you got the portraits to show up. After I figured it out, there's no way I wanted to take on the task of making all of them. Nice DaDonch :)

I have added 369 portraits for AAA Players and put the correct hat and jersey on them... for a total of 1,552 updated portraits for 2006. I'm going to go through the MLB rosters and AAA to put it anyone i have missed and then go to AA. For any players that didn't have a pic, I put in a pic of the team logo. onewaydown
Awesome work, man. One hell of a task... thousand+ pics. I commend you. In case it might come in handy, here's quick tip for anyone. It's an easy way to make the player pics and team logos bigger on all of your player html pages. (I kinda think 65x90 looks a tad too small on the page) -Download TextPad (http://www.textpad.com/) - it's a simple, yet powerful, plain text editor -Browse to your Players directory and Select All (Ctrl-A) -Right-click and select "TextPad" from the context menu to open them all -Go to Search->Replace (F8) * for Portraits enter width=65 in the Find box and width=## in the Replace box. (I like 90, which are OOTP & MLB.com size) * for the Team logo enter width=80 height=80 in the Find box and width=100 height=100 in the Replace box. (100px is the size of MarkB's MiLB logos which are here: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?name=Foru...p=253846#253846 ) -Make sure the Scope is set for All Documents and then click Replace All. Then go File-Save All. Bam! Easy update. The team logo on the home pages can be done the same way.
DaDonch44
thanks totte and onewaydown.... hopefully ill have the motivation and free time to get these done soon... im trying to get a couple of teams done a week... i def. agree that the pics are a little small... the ones on mlb.com are 90x135...which are a nice size, so while im doing them im saving 2 copies... the bigger ones (90x135) and the smaller ones (the size that mvpsavreader shrinks them to 65x97) ill have to try out that program onewaydown... sounds pretty cool... onewaydown
i def. agree that the pics are a little small... the ones on mlb.com are 90x135...which are a nice size, Hmm... you know, I didn't even bother to check those for some reason. hah! so while im doing them im saving 2 copies... the bigger ones (90x135) and the smaller ones (the size that mvpsavreader shrinks them to 65x97) ill have to try out that program onewaydown... sounds pretty cool... Cool, cool. Hope this helps. Technically, the savreader only includes the Width size. It doesn't change/set the Height. That program isn't anything ultra-fancy, but it's a 100x's better than the stock Notepad -- plus it's great for HTML and PHP coding as you can show the Line numbers.
