Editing Wristband Colors

I'm interested in editing some of the wristband colors for certain uniforms in the game, as well as things like batting gloves, cleats, etc.

Can somebody tell me what I'd need to do in order to do this? I'm very novice with regard to patching MVP, but am very experienced patching other EA games like NBA Live, so the more specific, the better.

It's the same, even uses the same tools in the main

I'm all but certain that editing what I'm referring to is not the same for MVP as for NBA Live. You edit band colors via .dbf files in NBA Live using a program like Excel or DB Commander.

Anybody else care to lend a hand, please??

Info like where the files are located specifically, what is necessary to open them, edit them (other than photoshop, if necessary), replace them, etc. would be useful.

The uniform files are in the models.big file. Backup your models.big first of course. The files you need to edit are named uxxxx.fsh . xxxx is a wildcard for numbers assigned to that jersey. I think the safest way is to use EAGRAPH and extract(when asked if you want to uncompress the file, click yes) the fsh after you find the one(s) you want to edit, and open it in FSHED. After editing the image, you should use eazip(AIM me if you can't find it) to compress the FSH. Then import it back into the models.big.

Here's a thread that has a list of the teams and their assigned numbers, its in the last post.

If the file ends in "a" it is a home jersey, "b" it is an away jersey "c" it is an alternate jersey, and so on. All information I have posted I read on this forum. If someone else knows an easier way or if any of the info I wrote is incorrect, please post it.

Strange as EAGraph was made specifically to edit NBA games, but there you go
