kinghernandez
I liked this one. Carl Everett at the plate with 2 men on. He hits a hard drive to right field that is going to be close to the fence, the short one in Fenway. The right fielder tries to field it field it like a grounder, misses, the ball goes right through his chest and over the fence for a home run. But then I hear the announcer say it was a bad play and he'll be charged with an error, which I thought was a mistake because Everett was circling the bases and the home run distance had been showed. But then I looked at the box score after the game and Everett was 0 for 5 with no RBI. Just thought that was kinda funny.

Klesko174
Yeah, something similar happened to me. I was the Cardinals as usual and Eckstein was at the plate. He nubs a foul ball down the first base line and D. Lee goes after it. He gets right to the foul fence and he dives and the ball goes into the stands and they called it a homerun. Although, he was 2 for 4 with no RBI's. I thought it was kind of weird when it happened, but it hasn't happened since.
MarkB
Although the collision detection in MVP is definitely better than some other games, it could be improved quite a lot. I have the urge to argue every play where a first-baseman totally blocks the line from home plate to first and the runner actually runs through him and is out on, for example, a ground ball.
