klon122
Do you have vibration on in the game menus? Did you check the Game Controllers applet in the Control Panel for your controller's properties and saw any options for vibration? If you're using XP service pack 2 and possibly using the older Radio Shack brand adapter, then you're not getting any vibration. For some reason, SP2 borks vibration functionality while pre-SP2 versions have it working just fine.
djjoe
klon, thanks for the reply-I bought my adapter from ebay.I do not have XP,as I'm running 2000,and in the options, the vibration options is set to "on",but its greyed out,so I cannot change it.What can I do?Thanks again. klon122
in the options, the vibration options is set to "on" I believe greyed out "on" actually means "We can't detect whether your controller actually supports vibration, so we'll turn it off." Also this could mean that you are using the Windows default driver. Anyway the only thing I can suggest for you is to find the name of the company who made your adapter and check to see if there are drivers made for your controller by that company. If you can't find that info, then you're likely outta luck.
five
Yeah, you just need to go to the mfr website and download the drivers.
