fuzzone
what's going on guys. The app is completed and will be uploaded shortly. However, i need to know the 2 or 3 letter abbreviations for all the AAA and AA teams. If anyone knows them off the top of their head, please post them here. The only way i can check is if i start a game with every AAA and AA team. please specify team city, team name, and their 2 or 3 letter initials. Faster this gets done, sooner i'll release the app. Thanks.

freudianslip
Fuzzone, Thanks a lot for the utility. It looks really great. However, I am having a ton of problems using it. I tried to add an Atlanta Braves alternate uniform (which were made specifically for use with your Uniform Editor/Utility) but with no success. I read your read me file carefully and followed the instructions to a tee. The thing is, I have no problem encoding the team and displaying the jerseys. Here's where the trouble starts: 1. I then select add a single uniform. 2. I properly load the BMP file, the Uxxx file and the Fxxx file 3. I import those into the game file 4. I recencode the team 5. The new uniform shows up and is visible 6. I close that window 7. I go into the BIN folder and select the models.BIG and uniforms.BIG 8. I copy and paste those into their proper MVP folders so that they overwrite the ones that are already in there 9. I start the game 10. NO NEW UNIFORMS What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions? Thanks
raindelay7
ty fuzzone for this very cool utility!!! i am having a little trouble with "create a team" feature: when i click to use the default alpha file i keep getting a "runtime 53" error. also, when i used alpha files included in samples and got to end of process, i got a message that there was an error in gfpk and it was shutting down... anyway, thanks again - i really look forward to using this thing! fuzzone
freudianslip: I assume you mean the alternative dark blue Atlanta Braves uniforms? I just added it myself, did your procedure step by step and the uniform does in fact show up in the game. So let me make sure we're on the same page. you encode Atlanta Braves,Display Uniforms, Click Add uniforms, and then you choose the first option correct? After you choose the first option, you get a window that asks you for 4 things. First you must hit begin. Then you select the bmp file, and if we're talking about the same uniform, the bmp file should be 0005.bmp, you click add BMP. Then you choose the UxxxY.FSH and then FxxxY.FSH, and then you click on IMPORT TO GAME FILES. At this point, 2 black windows should have flashed up quickly. You are to wait till they have closed. At this point, you get a small "ok" box that says import has completed. Now from your steps, you encoded the team again, clicked DISPLAY UNIFORMS and the uniforms were there. correct? However when you copied models.big and uniform.big to your game directory, the uniforms werent there?... This leads me to believe you copied the UNIFORMS.BIG and MODELS.BIG in the C:WhereYouExtractedBINORIGINALS folder and not the MODELS.Big and UNIFORMS.BIG in the main C:whereYouExtractedBin folder. Hope that fixes your problem because im having no problems on this side regarding your issuse. See if that helps and if not, ask around and see if anyones having problems with that uniform, but i doubt it. I just did it myself. MAKE SURE YOUR COPYING THE MODELS AND UNIFORMS.BIG thats in the same folder as fuzZMVP2.exe
fuzzone
raindelay7: you wrote, "also, when i used alpha files included in samples and got to end of process, i got a message that there was an error in gfpk and it was shutting down... " You should not access the samples folder in STEP 2. If you are adding those images and clicking "Select Logo Alpha", that's a big no no. The problem is that you shouldnt access that folder since STEP 2 accesses the files in the folder and any file it works on,locks the file for use. You may have a conflict. However, you are right about one thing. There is an error when you add default alphas. THAT IS BECAUSE I FORGOT TO ADD an alpha file in the samples folder. in C:WhereYouExtractBINSAMPLESALPHA you have file 0000-a.bmp to 0006-a.bmp There is supposed to be a 0007-a.bmp, it's size should be 128 x 64. This is what i recommend you do. Open up any graphics program, and open up 0006-a.bmp located in the samplesalpha folder. Open 0006-a.bmp, and resize it as 128 x 64. That's all. Resize it and SAVE IT AS 0007-a.bmp, save it in the folder SAMPLESALPHA. IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE,EMAIL ME AND I WILL SEND YOU THE ALPHA FILE. THIS SHOULD SOLVE BOTH YOUR PROBLEMS. raindelay7
thnx fuzz still having problems though: i used default alphas with no problem but after "you have completed process" message i continued and got the error message that gfxpk had to shut down. I was using my own logos and double checked that they are proper size.
fuzzone
RainDelay: are the images 24 bit? I've added 9 team logos to 18 different teams in the testing process. You shouldn't be having a problem. Make sure everything is fine on your end. whats error you getting with gfxpak..go into the bin directory, RIGHT click on fuzzybatch.bat or fuzzybatch2.bat, choose edit, and find the one that has the command line gfxpak -p ........ open up dos, goto the path, and then type fuzzybatch.bat so you see what the error reads. raindelay7
how do i open dos? btw correct logos are being placed in folder in logowork folder but the corresponding .fsh file in logowork still contains original logos. i'm guessing probably is something on my end causing trouble....as a quick work around what would be the .bat code to get the logos/alpha logos into the .fsh? i tried doing it manually with the ea editor but there doesn't appear to be any place to put the alpha images. hope i am being clear thnx for your help and patience, fuzzone
