After 20 games in my dynasty I don't have any batter with a ,300 + average and got only 6 homers for the entire team... What I'm doing wrong? Do you have guys any tips? Thanks a lot! I want to get it realistic, don't want to hit 4-5 homers per game but more than 6 in 20... Same thing with me and my Cards dynasty on AS with Pared's sliders, slightly adjusted. Edmonds leads the team in HR's with a whopping 3 about 25 games in, but if the 'Stro's weren't the best team in the NL on my game I'd be in first by plenty (I am .5 games behind right now). And AP is batting .245!!! I was thinking of tweeking my sliders, but haven't yet. I finally did a search for hitting tips and have been using some I found, and I seem to be hitting better. Any tips about HR?I play on All-Star with the default sliders and I hit a good deal of homeruns. I play with hitter's eye on, and I wait for a good fastball on the inner half and get ahold of it quickly. Depending on the hitter, I usually try to pull it to dead left (as a righty) and I usually don't have a problem. Hitting homeruns on breaking pitches I have a lot of problems with though. If you get your timing down on fastballs high in the zone you should have no problem crushing them. D-Unit Posted June 11, 2006 Share Posted June 11, 2006 i have my own personal sliders and they have worked wonders for me. if anyone is interested in the sliders, get at me. i play on all-star now but i actually cut down my hitting sliders because all-star gets me a more realistic strikeout ratio.
