AnthonyBurke
What's the best way to play Owner Mode & be successful? I use the Cincinnati Reds & after one year I am $20 million in debt and Fired by the second season.
snepp
Win ball games, the number 1 thing.
The_Jerk
I suggest medium budgets, buy seating capacity upgrades as soon as you an and the most important thing, win. And try to keep your player salaries around 75-80 million tops.
Tomackze
why not just get big budget? you can't buy seating upgrade with medium because medium gives u 2 mill only. THIS WORKS FOR ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY BUT ITS MORE EFFICIENT IF YOUR TEAM IS CHEAP Here's my strategey that always worked: Win ball games Spend your profit before every road game Make sure to have home field in playoffs for all rounds = win AS game Everytime u are the first game and minor league games are after you play your game and when ur done DON'T simulate the entire day. Once the day is over you have to give expense, after a game you make income so spend that extra money you made before you had to pay expense... it will add on to your budget (which makes it decrease) but you have more stuff to sell EVERY PLAYOFF GAME GO TO GAME 7, GET MOST OF HOME GAMES BECUASE YOU LOSE NOTHING IN ROAD GAMES IN THE PLAYOFFS
The_Jerk
The first seating upgrade doesn't add much, only 5000, and if you win your division and go deep in the playoffs, you can still make a profit on medium budgets. And medium budgets is still a challenge, high budgets are easy.
JoeyMcM93
The big thing, WIN. I aslo like to buy a few concessio stands and such when I first start out. Something to attract the fans.
ixcuincle
Other than winning ball games , I suggest ArtMoney. I was once in the red like you but "magically" got a huge funding boost and am not in that much debt trouble anymore (a few thousand under 0 , but still better than 17 mil in debt!) that plus seating upgrades and concessions...I added level 2 seating and more people come , plus the ball club is winning games and selling merchandise... = profits :D
uspdude
don't use ArtMoney, it will only takes the fun away! I'm using medium budget and I've made 13Mil profit after one season! it's really easy to make money after the all star break. the trick is to make your division title race as tight as possible
angryrat
"I'm using medium budget and I've made 13Mil profit after one season!" uspdude, you sound like one of those late night infomercials for those "get rich without getting off your ***" scams on tv.
